This Privacy Policy explains how the Trustmyloc mobile application and website (together, the “Service”) collect, use, and protect your information. The Service is operated by EURL TRUSTMYLOC (“Trustmyloc”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. The short version

Trustmyloc automatically measures the time workers spend at addresses an employer chooses to track. To do this it uses location, but it is built to be minimal: we never keep your continuous location or your travel routes — only the “arrival” and “departure” events at the tracked addresses. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — first name, last name, and email address, used to create and manage your account.
  • Location data — the App uses your device's location, including in the background, solely to detect when a worker enters or leaves a tracked address. Only the entry/exit events (with the coordinates at the moment of the event and a timestamp) are sent to our servers. We do not store your route, your continuous position, or your movements between addresses.
  • Time-tracking data — arrival/departure timestamps and the resulting time on site. This data is stored in the manager's (employer's) account; nothing is kept in the worker's account.
  • Diagnostics & crash logs — technical information about errors and app performance, to keep the Service running.
  • Device identifiers — a push-notification token used to send you arrival/departure alerts.

3. How we use your information

  • Provide the core feature: measuring time at tracked addresses.
  • Create and manage your account, and send the magic-link sign-in email.
  • Send notifications (arrivals, departures) and important service messages.
  • Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Employer responsibilities & worker consent

Trustmyloc is a tool used by an employer or manager to track time at addresses they control. If you use Trustmyloc to track workers, you are the controller of that data and you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including employment, labor, and privacy laws. Several U.S. states require that you notify and/or obtain the consent of employees before tracking their location. You agree to obtain any required notice or consent from your workers before tracking them. Workers can request deletion of their tracking data at any time (see Section 8).

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to operate the Service:

  • OneSignal — push notifications.
  • Sentry — crash and error diagnostics.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management.
  • Apple and Google — app distribution and in-app billing.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Data retention

  • Time-tracking and address data — kept while the address and account are active; deleted when you delete the account or address.
  • Diagnostics — automatically deleted after about 90 days.
  • Billing records — retained as required by applicable accounting and tax laws.

7. Where your data is stored

Our servers are located in the European Union. If you use the Service from the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the EU. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time:

  • In the app — Menu → “Delete my account” removes your account and associated history.
  • By email — write to contact@trustmyloc.com.
  • A worker may request, at any time, the deletion of their tracking data held in their manager's account.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so there is no need to opt out. To exercise any right, contact us at the email above; we will verify your request before acting on it.

9. Account & data deletion

See our dedicated page: Delete your account and data.

10. Children

Trustmyloc is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above.
